During the unit of inquiry “Our life” we have been learning different concepts related to demography in the world.
During one of the sessions students played with bricks to represent how low or densely populated are some areas in the world and how it might increase or decrease depending on factors such as birth or death rate, migration and natural disasters that may leave part of a country inhabitable.
This led us to understand how different it may happen to be living in one continent or another.
Increasing or decreasing the number of blocks helped them visualize the ideas.
What do you think these lego pieces represent?
